Scientology Volunteer Ministers in Botswana
For the past 6 months, Scientologists have been working in Botswana, to help the local towns improve conditions. They are part of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour. The Church of Scientology of Johannesburg, South Africa helped to set this up and work very closely with the tour.
Here is an excerpt from the story:
The Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour has just arrived in Maun, Botswana, the gateway to the Okavango Delta, Africa’s largest and most beautiful oasis. On arriving in the area, they surveyed community leaders, and learned that what is wanted is most quality education for the children of the city.
In response, the team, which has spend the last six months in and around Francistown, Botswana, set up workshops to teach study technology.
The workshops are based on the booklet The Technology of Study, from the Scientology Handbook by L. Ron Hubbard.
