Hello Magazine has an absolutely beautiful issue on Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wedding.

It seems everywhere you turn people are having trouble with their relationships. Divorces are so commonplace, and how many people do you know who are still with the same partner they had 20 years ago?

Here’s a great article on A-R-C  — Affinity, Reality and Communication — which can help you or a friend or family member over the rough spots and help mend relationships and put them back together.

This is one Scientology tool that is applicable in so many aspects of life. 

This weekend’s Scientology wedding of Tom and Katie brought back fond memories, not only of my own Scientology wedding, but of the half dozen or so Scientology weddings I performed as a Scientology minister.

There are five wedding ceremonies, if I remember correctly.  I’ve done several different versions, because it’s also completely expected that the couple can add anything they want into the ceremony, and I’ve had that done several times.  

The ceremony I’ve done most often is the one that includes holding the two rings up and having the couple create an ARC triangle in the center of each ring.  This rings symbolize time unending, and triangle symbolizes  the three factors, Affinity, Reality and Communication, which together equal Understanding.

The minister then urges the couple to vow never to close their eyes in sleep on a broken triangle, but to heal with communication any break in Affinity or Reality.

Just using this one piece of Scientology tech I’ve been able to help so many people resolve problems that seemed completely insurmountable in their relationships.  It’s like magic.

There’s a public service announcement the Church of Scientology International put out about 10 years or so ago — maybe even longer — that I really love.  It is based on a quote by Scientology founder, L. Ron Hubbard, "On the day when we can fully trust each other, there will be peace on Earth."

This is a truism, of course.  But without a technology to help a person become trustworthy, in the fullest sense of the word, not to mention able to trust his or herself, this would be a meaningless wish with no substance.

The fact is that using Scientology technology, one of the most marked changes one experiences is greater responsibility and trustworthiness.
